Trying New Things

Last night, some good friends of ours invited us over for dinner. She had just got a Japanese cook book and wanted to try something out on us. Well, it turned out great. I can not tell you the type of soup we had, nor what the chicken skewers are called. For dessert, we indulged in pineapple sherbert with honey dew melon. I love that my friends experiment on us because it is what I do best. I almost always try new recipes when people come over. Such a fun way to entertain. The trials have not failed me yet.

Can you see why we like having dinner with our friends?

The sauce was outstanding.

The only thing not made from scratch, mighty tasty though.

And on a side note, I used Brent’s D7000 not my D40. What a difference in feel. It felt foreign to me.
